Royal Mail Delivery Delays

Royal Mail is currently experiencing seasonal backlogs due to increased volumes over the Black Friday and Christmas period. This is affecting Tracked 48 in particular, with an average delay of around 3 working days for tracking updates and delivery.

As a result, your tracking may show “We’re expecting your item” even after we have dispatched it. Rest assured, all orders have been collected by Royal Mail, and if you click into your tracking you will see a collection scan time confirming this.

To ensure faster delivery and minimise delays, especially as we approach Christmas, we strongly recommend selecting Tracked 24 at checkout where possible. Royal Mail continues to prioritise Tracked 24, and it is moving through their network significantly quicker during peak season.

Once Royal Mail clears the current backlog, your tracking will update and your parcel will continue progressing as normal.
